Hindermann article number

R-5363-1524

Tyvek® 2473-L is an antistatic trilaminate (HDPE/SBPP/HDPE) that possesses a highly voluminous and breathable fibre layer. The material is water vapour-permeable and strongly water-repellent; it is also washable. This style possesses statically dissipative properties. Tyvek® 2473-L is characterised by its excellent tear resistance in relation to its surface weight. Moreover, this style constitutes a barrier for dust particles. The material filters 98% of dust particles with an average diameter of 2 micrometres and offers protection from most chemicals and environmental influences.

This "padded", highly tear-resistant, washable and dimensionally stable style is particularly well suited as packaging for valuable objects. It is the optimal protection for painted and sensitive surfaces. Tyvek® 2473-L was specially developed to provide padding for the surfaces of goods during transportation and thus to protect them from damage. Alternatively, this style can be used, for example, as material in the furniture industry.
